Every shroom already earns an equal share of the pot. $SHROOM is how it earns more.
MetaMask hides tokens it has not been told about, so your balance can look like zero when it is not. One click fixes it, and it puts you on Robinhood Chain at the same time.
This is not a promise. It has been paying since launch.
Ten percent of every secondary sale goes to a contract, not a wallet. Half of that buys real tokenised GameStop and pays it into each shroom's own wallet, every shroom owns one, via ERC-6551.
It has paid out twice so far, 263.15 GME across all 888. Every shroom is holding 0.29634 GME right now. It is still there. Check your number on the front page and pull it out yourself.
Today all 888 take an equal share. $SHROOM is what changes that.
One sentence: you burn $SHROOM into a shroom, and that shroom takes a bigger slice of every payout from then on.
Burning means destroying. The tokens are not staked, not locked, not held by us, they leave circulation permanently and the supply falls. What you get back is a permanent increase to that shroom's share.
The exact costs, the formula and how far it goes are in section 04. What follows first is where the tokens come from.
88,800,000 $SHROOM. Minted once. No mint function. No owner. Nothing can create more, not us, not anyone.
| allocation | tokens | share | what it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Liquidity | 53,280,000 | 60% | Into the pool. |
| Airdrop | 22,200,000 | 25% | 25,000 to every shroom, enough to burn for one tier, free. |
| Operations | 8,880,000 | 10% | Running costs. Address published day one. |
| Founders | 4,440,000 | 5% | Address published day one. |
Burning $SHROOM into a shroom raises its share of every payout, permanently. Burns are cumulative and irreversible, the tokens are destroyed, not staked, not locked, gone.
| tier | weight | total burned | extra from tier below | unlocks when the collection has burned | could ever reach it |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 1× | 0 | - | open at launch | all 888 |
| Tier 2 | 2× | 25,000 | 25,000 | open at launch, the airdrop covers it | 888 |
| Tier 3 | 3× | 100,000 | 75,000 | 11,100,000 | 754 |
| Tier 4 | 4× | 225,000 | 125,000 | 22,200,000 | 335 |
| Tier 5 | 5× | 400,000 | 175,000 | 33,300,000 | 188 |
| Tier 6 | 6× | 625,000 | 225,000 | 44,400,000 | 120 |
| Tier 7 | 7× | 900,000 | 275,000 | 55,500,000 | 83 |
Read the last column. That is the absolute maximum, assuming every token that will ever exist gets burned, nobody sells, and nobody stays put. In reality it will be a fraction. The top tiers are scarce by arithmetic, not by a rule we invented.
max weight = 2 + (total burned ÷
11,100,000). Higher tiers unlock as the whole collection burns.
We do not release them and we cannot hold them back. A whale cannot run
ahead alone, the ceiling only rises when everyone burns.
A rarer shroom out-earns a common one for the same burn permanently. Rarity multiplies the whole weight; no amount of burning closes the gap.
Every Retail Shroom is drawn from bytes inside the contract. There is no server, no IPFS, nothing anyone has to keep paying for. Which means a contract can read a shroom's traits directly:
So the weight a shroom is given can be verified by anyone. Nobody has to take our word for what a shroom is worth, the number is derived on-chain from the token itself.
Every sale of $SHROOM pays 5% into the pot. Buying is free.
Anyone leaving funds the shrooms of everyone who stays. The fee lives in a Uniswap V4 hook, and in V4 the hook is part of the pool's identity so once the pool exists the fee cannot be removed, reduced or switched off, by us or by anyone.
This runs on top of the 10% NFT royalty already feeding the pot. Two sources, one pot.
Every round, holders vote on which stock the whole pot buys.
The tally is on-chain and settlement is permissionless. We do not choose what the pot buys and we cannot stop a round settling.
The strongest thing we can offer is a list of things that will be impossible, including for us.
| after launch | |
|---|---|
| Mint more $SHROOM | Impossible. No mint function exists. |
| Change the token | Impossible. Ownership burned to 0x…dEaD. |
| Upgrade a contract | Impossible. Nothing is a proxy. |
| Pause anything | Impossible. No pause function exists. |
| Remove or lower the fee | Impossible. The hook is welded to the pool. |
| Pull the liquidity | Impossible. The contract holding it has no withdraw function. Not owner-gated, not timelocked. It was never written. |
| Choose what the pot buys | Impossible. Holders vote, settlement is open to anyone. |
| Stop a payout | Impossible. Anyone can trigger one. Someone already has. |
| Take the pot | Impossible. It pays into the shrooms' own wallets. |
Everything gets simulated against the live chain before it goes out, and read back off the chain afterwards. That is how the collection, the renderer and the payout engine all shipped. None of them have needed fixing.
